We are thrilled to welcome your family to Playstrong Movement Academy. These guidelines help ensure a safe, organized, and joyful fitness experience for every young athlete we coach.
1. Program Details
Our academy offers customized physical education for K–5 students located in Northeast Baltimore County. We focus on developing athletic skills and self-esteem through active play.
2. Enrollment Policy
Enrollment is open to children in kindergarten through 5th grade who live within our service area in Northeast Baltimore County, Maryland. Families can enroll by submitting an interest form or booking a session through our website. Enrollment is confirmed only after you receive a booking confirmation email (and, when required, payment is completed). Enrollment may be limited based on schedule availability, safety considerations, and our professional judgment about whether our program is an appropriate fit for your child.
3. Booking and Payment Terms
To secure your child's session, please book through our portal. We require full payment at the time of scheduling via our secure digital checkout. Success starts with a locked-in schedule, allowing us to prepare the best equipment and drills for your specific session.
4. Schedule Changes
Life happens, so please give us 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. Late cancellations may be ineligible for credits. If a coach is unable to attend, we will offer a makeup date or a complete refund to ensure your satisfaction.
5. On-Site Supervision
For the safety of our students, a guardian must remain on-site during the entire session. While our instructors provide expert guidance, the child's general welfare remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
6. Health Protocols
Please disclose any allergies or medical needs before we begin. To keep our community healthy, we ask that children who are feeling sick or contagious stay home to rest rather than attending their scheduled fitness session.
7. Conduct Standards
We cultivate a space of positivity. To maintain a productive environment, we may end a session early if behavior becomes hazardous or disruptive. Our goal is to keep everyone moving forward in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.
8. Weather Policy
In cases of storms or high heat, we will transition to an indoor area if possible. If outdoor conditions are unsafe and no indoor alternative exists, we will gladly reschedule your appointment at no additional cost to you.
9. Safety Waiver
Active play carries natural risks. By completing enrollment, parents accept these risks and agree to hold our Academy and staff harmless for injuries sustained during standard participation in our physical education exercises.
10. Image Rights
We love sharing student progress on social media. We will always seek your permission before posting. You can decline or change your media preferences at any time by speaking with your coach or sending us an email.
